We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, modification, and repair of commercial HVAC duct systems and sheet metal components on a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering quality craftsmanship on every job site.
Responsibilities:
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, and sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
- Measure, layout, assemble, and install duct systems, hangers, supports, and related equipment.
- Fabricate sheet metal components as needed using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make field modifications when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Participate in project planning and continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce material waste.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial sheet metal installation experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
- Experience installing commercial duct systems, including rectangular, spiral, and round ductwork.
- Proficient with sheet metal tools, power tools, lifts, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, SMACNA standards, and applicable building codes.
- Strong mathematical and layout skills.
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA certification preferred but not required.
Compensation:
$42–$60 per hour DOE

- 40 hours of PTO after 90 days, plus an additional 48 hours after one year of employment
